Google Friend Connect

Google rolled out another program. Google Friend Connect, another social network to check out. To quote their blog, it says: “Even better, you don’t have to deal with the hassle of creating yet another username and password — Friend Connect lets you log in using an existing account from Google, Yahoo, AOL, or OpenID. Similarly, you can choose to either establish a new profile or use profiles and friend sources from other social networks that have opened up their services, like Plaxo and Orkut.”
I already created my profile using my Google account.

Yeah i came across google friend connect. But how useful it can be?? I mean orkut and Plaxo are already there.. And the friend connect i think is specially for business purpose. How reliable it is?? Can we really gather the good number of business traffic???

Sometimes it make me bit confuse..so many similar things.
Like me, have many email such as yahoo, gmail, hotmail and etc.
Similar function. Which one better?
