After 7 years in the field of Information Technology, I decided to call it a day (years) and concentrated in providing web solutions to small businesses here in Cebu. I started my career in the world wide web as a web designer/developer, building websites with Joomla and WordPress.

That was when I get introduced to the world of search engine optimization. While joining forums for web designers and developers, my attention was brought to a discussion about having a website not being the ultimate goal in order to have an online presence. A website that is not visible in the search engines is as good as nothing, or close to it. That piqued my curious mind. I then started to look for SEO forums, asked questions, and joined conversations. That was the start of sleepless nights, sleepless months actually.

A couple of years later, doing search engine optimization, I was then introduced into the world of pay-per-click advertising. A client whom I do SEO with, asked me if I can do PPC campaign management for him as well. I was very hesitant and honestly told him I don’t know anything about PPC. Instead of looking for somebody who knows PPC, this client/friend who is always pushed me to my limits, asked me if I’m willing to learn how to do it. That’s when I started offering total search engine marketing services package. SEO and PPC.

I am currently a Search Engine Marketing Consultantt for SEO Web Junction, my own company, based in Cebu City, Philippines. I have been doing freelance web solutions consultancy jobs since 2004, offering online solutions and services to various businesses including independent book publishing, real estate and health among others.

The services I offer include search engine optimization, pay-per-click campaign setup and management, conversion optimization, landing page optimization, and web analytics and reports setup. Just recently, after teaching individuals search engine marketing for a while, I started to conduct formal search engine marketing trainings. I am also a Google Adwords Qualified Individual and Google Analytics Qualified Individual.

After blogging about my profession for 4 years, I decided to create a personal blog where I talk about my day-to-day life as a person outside my job. The musings of life’s wanderer.
