Google Adwords, Biggest Factors

Posted by User ImageJun on 30/03/09 in Google Adwords

I have been managing PPC accounts for a while now. Some are small and some have big budgets. Managing PPC sometimes though is like a cat and mouse play. Very time consuming if you want good results. Not to mention Google’s very vague explanations on the factors of a good PPC campaign.

Just recently though, one of my favorite SEO/SEM blogs posted a very good view on Google’s Ad Auction factors as they call it. Here are the links to their posts:

In my more than 2 years of doing SEO, I have heard a lot of times about the risk of using paid links. It has been said that Search Engines especially Google don’t like paid links, when they are used to manipulate rankings rather than just boosting traffic. The question though would be, how accurate are their algorithms that track what these kind of links are being used for?

Here’s a good article about paid links.

It’s been 2 years since I started using WordPress. In the process, I have used a number of plug-ins, some I’m still using today while others I discarded right away. Been wanting to make a list of those plugins but never got a chance to compile one. Luckily I stumbles on an article about WordPress plugins.
