Been jumping around from theme to theme for years before deciding to settle down with one of the best, SEO-friendly WordPress theme. Still getting around the framework though, so the face of this blog will still go on changing. But I’m certain the framework would now stay with Thesis.

Like most of the Thesis users, I love it’s ability to blend with the SEO tactics I use. Design-wise, I love the simplicity and how clean it generates a site. I’m not much of a “coder” though so I would be leaning on the FREE skins available. :D

Just a few days after the release of RC1, comes WordPress 2.7 RC2. According to the developers, this would almost be the final release of 2.7 barring any bugs and glitches. Or maybe a little tweaking or polishing as they say :D

The security issue is an XSS exploit discovered by Jeremias Reith that fortunately only affects IP-based virtual servers running on Apache 2.x. If you are interested only in the security fix, copy wp-includes/feed.php and wp-includes/version.php from the 2.6.5 release package.

2.6.5 contains three other small fixes in addition to the XSS fix. The first prevents accidentally saving post meta information to a revision. The second prevents XML-RPC from fetching incorrect post types. The third adds some user ID sanitization during bulk delete requests.
