Another good source of Joomla extensions, some of which I regularly use, is JoomlaForge. My favorite is their Content Slider, a module that allows you to place up to 10 content items.

Another module I find interesting from YouJoomla is their horizontal log-in module. Looks cool to me and may save some space when you’re using a lot of modules in your left and right columns.
I have been using Jomres Online Booking Component for more than a year now with one of my client’s website, Cebu Condotel Rentals. Haven’t had any problem with the system so far, though I can say my client is not running a very complicated set-up, no on-line payments just booking.
Jomres can handle more complicated set-up though. On-line payments, taxes and other miscellaneous charges can be set-up at the administration panel.
